We found a fascinating article from 2013. It was on a Hungarian music blog site. We thought it’d be interesting for you. We had to translate it from Hungarian to English, it wasn’t an easy thing, but here’s that article:
They accused P!nk of forgetting those people who helped her to start her career. This story isn’t about forgotten friendships or some kind of emotional topic – IT’S LITERALLY ABOUT MONEY.
They sued the singer Pink because she supposedly didn’t pay more than 36 thousand dollar license fees to her onetime producers. A company called Specialists Entertainment went to court because P!nk signed a statement in 1999 that according to the half part of the license fees after her first album will be shared with the company. On that high successful album, the plaintiff wrote the song Can’t Take Me Home and Hiccup with P!nk. Since then we know that Can’t Take Me Home was very successful because she sold over 5 million copies, but after that, the production company vainly waited for that money. The current submission says that P!nk has to pay 36,213.13 dollars to the company. P!nk’s delegate just commented it: this isn’t P!nk’s case, because Sony does the payments.
As we know, P!nk has never paid that amount of money. It was a really surprising article. We hope you enjoyed it.
